I'm the girl with the most beautiful ride in town! At least this is how i feel when i ride my old-new bike.

It's a Gazelle from 1990. On the photos you can see how it looked when i got it in Amsterdam. It was brought to Estonia, then i renovated the frame and luggage carrier. The saddle, mudguards and some small missing peaces are bought from the wonderful old-school guys from Rattur. And there we have..my new ride. There aren't enough words to describe how i love it...

She was my favorite lamb in the flock. Mainly due to her style and nature. As you can see, she has very nice black spots on her face and also on knees, so that when the knees get dirty on grass, it would still look nice. Due to her appearance she got a name Choclate Chip from me. On the last day i made her a woolen necklace with a small leather pendant with initials CC. She was always very fond of exploring unknown territories- for example escaping through the fence to try out the grass on the other side. Unfortunately her nice looks and accessories will not save her in autumn. But i'm sure that she will be the most beautiful one in the sheep heaven.

Now a third year in a row i completed a inline skating marathon. This year i decided to participate on the 16 km one (instead of 36km) due to simple lack of training. This distance is not considered to be a competition, but rather a fun ride for the sunday-skaters. Well, when we see the average speed of the first 100 participants, it is easily around 25 km/h and we should also take into account that the thermometer showed around 30 degrees the whole time. In this conditions i finished on the 73rd position among 400 participants and as a 26th woman :) it was very hard, mainly due to the high speed, heat and no wind. Even though half of the time i was wandering why the hell am i here, i think i will register for the one next year also. Simple addiction :)

This is the last shot i made in Amsterdam (with Agfa Clack), about 6 o'clock in the morning, dragging my 50 kg luggage towards the CS. Now i'm off to a 3-week vacation, bringing back photos of mountains, fjords, wooden houses, harbours, sea, fish and sheep and again mountains :)

I found this photo while going through my photos. Its made on 9.04.09. His jacket seemed so comfy that i just couldn't resist the temptation to try it on and take some photos. He had left it at my place after moving to his own. Two days before i had sent an e-mail to E comprising of phrases...an evening bike tour...felt so much like spring...sliced strawberries with melted chocolate.mmmm....a modern dance play...left the candles on...this lovely look at his face... He still is an amazingly great boyfriend, the best! Muah.
